WHO WE ARE
This site is operated by The Room Partners LLC ("The Room", "we", "us"), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (Trade Licence No. 2652650). This notice explains how we handle personal data submitted to us through this website.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Enquiry form: your name, work email address, company name (optional), the option you select describing your situation, and the details you write about your problem.
"Notify me about The Collective" and launch waitlist forms: your email address only.
Talent Brief (businesses): your name, work email, company and what you need help hiring, plus, if you choose to add them, your phone number, number of hires, contract type, location, start date, salary range and details about the work that needs to move.
Talent Network (candidates): your name, email, optional phone number and LinkedIn profile, current or most recent role, location, areas of experience, the kind of work you are open to, UAE work-authorisation status, optional availability and salary expectations, and a short description of the work you are strongest at. We do not ask for a CV at this stage.
We don't use tracking cookies, analytics, or advertising scripts on this site. The only data we receive is what you choose to submit through these forms.
WHY WE COLLECT IT
We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry, get in touch about The Collective, notify you when we launch, or to respond to a talent brief or consider you for relevant opportunities — nothing else. We never share a candidate's details or CV with a business without asking the candidate first, for that specific role. We don't sell, rent, or use your data for marketing you haven't asked for.
OUR LAWFUL BASIS
We process this data on the basis of your consent, given when you voluntarily submit a form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you've initiated with us. Talent Brief and Talent Network submissions rely on the consent you give via the tick-box on those forms, together with our legitimate interest in responding to briefs.
WHERE YOUR DATA IS HELD
Submitted data is stored in a database hosted in the EU (AWS, Ireland). Email notifications of new submissions are sent via Resend, a US-based email delivery provider, to our own inbox. This site's fonts are served via Google Fonts, which as a normal part of loading a webpage may receive your IP address from Google — no data from our forms is shared with Google. Each submission is also copied to a private Google Sheet that only two named members of our team can open. Google acts as a service provider for that sheet, and its infrastructure may be located outside the UAE and the EU. The sheet follows the same retention periods as our database: entries are deleted automatically on the same schedule.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
We retain submitted data for up to 24 months from the date of submission, after which it is automatically deleted. Talent Network details are kept for up to 12 months from submission if you ask us to keep them for future opportunities, and are otherwise deleted after 90 days. Talent Brief details are kept for up to 24 months. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see "Your rights" below).
YOUR RIGHTS
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and applicable regulations, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict our processing of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
